Me&U Cafe

Me&U Cafe is a creative space run by adults with learning disabilities for adults with learning disabilities. This is a project run by Volunteering Bradford and provides:

• Training opportunities for adults with learning disabilities who wish to either train as or experience being a barista, supported by staff and volunteers,
• A safe space for adults with learning disabilities to meet and socialise,
• A rolling programme of activities (largely arts and crafts based but will be led by interests of attendees)
• A drop-in space for adults with learning disabilities who are interested in exploring volunteer options within the community, supported by staff,
• Offering a range of activities/options we will be able to encourage and enable independence and active lifestyles.

BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL – self-referrals, referrals from carers, parents or professionals are accepted.
