Bevan Wellbeing Mentors
Bevan employ a team of Wellbeing Mentors, previously known as Social Prescribers who can work with people to help them access additional support to improve their health and wellbeing. Many of the individuals Wellbeing Mentors support would like to make new friends or find out about local activities. They may have experienced trauma or lost family, have housing or money issues, had a new baby or are struggling to come to terms with a long-term medical condition.
The Wellbeing Mentor will meet with the individual in order to discuss the type of support they need. A plan of action will be made and they may also be referred or signposted to other services either within Bevan or to community groups or partner organisations we work with.
If you would like to work with a Wellbeing Mentor you can speak to any member of staff who will be able to refer you into the service.
